Here are the steps we take to ensure your data is protected from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:
- Our website is encrypted with an SSL certificate
- We restrict access to your personal data to only those employees of the IAU-OAO or volunteers of the Astronomy Translation Network who need it to deliver services related to the project (website administrator, Project Manager and Language Coordinators)
- Servers that store visitor information are regularly backed up to protect against loss.
